I just remembered one night a little over two years ago when we all got so wasted atThe Rapture's gig at Zouk in Singapore. Rivermaya boys -Japs, Mike, Mark, then there's me and Amanda. I lost my glasses that night and Mark lost his cap. We had too much vodka redbull and Mark's just holding one of the photos.
Tonight we all hung out and had a great time over a couple of beers and several packs of cigarettes (that Japs kept on bumming from us, haha). It's just so nice to see how much how we know the reason why we all got together then. I wouldn't elaborate. You might think I'm bragging.
I guess the saying "things happen for a reason" is actually only meaningful when eventually after all these years of friendships, experiences, collaborations, disagreements, divisions and separations -- suddenly show you those reasons. Then you all begin to open your eyes, as if a bright lightbulb has been switched on
I don't get to hang out with all of them often, but I know who my friends are because kindred spirits don't just drift away and disappear. Somehow, at the right time, they all come back to you at the precisely the right time... at the right moment.
I guess I just missed everyone. Amanda dropped by tonight at the studio. I've been documenting Rivermaya's recording for their upcoming album and all I can say is that OMG they have made really really amazing music.

The Variax 700 is 25 guitars in one. It's analog output just like other guitars (obvious ba inaral ko) and it's not digital sounding as most people would assume. I love the sitar sound and the 12-string acoustic. You can also purchase a software called the Line 6 Workbench where you can design your own guitar, let's say, put the pickups on the neck, and change the shape of the body. Whatever kind of sound it produces, you can save it and put it in the guitar. So you can have a one of a kind sound if you want to. So technically you can have a thousand guitar sounds if you wanted to with the different combinations you can come up with.
Although I couldn't buy the software, I'm really broke, haha. Check out Line 6 - Variax Electric - Modeling Electric Guitar
Pictures to follow. Again, thank you to Chen, Frey, Haze, Joey, Jim and Neil for the additional YIHEES. Pardon the video editing, I really suck at video editing, plus I had to bleep some of chen and Frey's statments. Hahaha. ang hirap noh! I'm not an editor!
I think you'll have a blast watching this video. :) He said it was his best birthday ever. And yes he did cry... when it was just the two of us. I love you!!!
I've been feeling under the weather the past few days, I think I have to quarantine myself. Although I don't think this is anything serious. Just to be on the safe side. I think the stress of all the work has caught up with me and I'm not yet even finished with all of them!

I'm really pressed for time today but I gotta blog about this. I just can't NOT blog about this.
I was just watching a medley of music videos of Michael Jackson's old hits on TV, when I go up and see tweets from people saying he just died. It's really sad. I saw the brilliance of his moves and music, overshadowed by the tragedies that occurred in his life. But he will forever remain as the King of Pop for me.
Funny because we were just dancing to MJ tunes during downtime from recording last Tuesday. One of us even did a moonwalk and spun around (it wasn't me or Francis obviously, I'm not allowed to say yet, haha) The cameramen who were there to document the recording were disappointed they didn't catch me and Francis doing a weird waltz while the rest of the peeps were bobbing their heads up and down. Just when they went out to smoke someone else did a classic MJ move.

Regarding all that hoopla about Trent quitting Twitter because people had been bashing him and his girlfriend due to his online mushiness, his statement about how he's not the same person he was in 1994 and how if they don't like it then people should leave and stop reading his tweets -- echoes some things that Francis said about change and acceptance. People change and if they do, there's really no stopping it. Not even if your former friends want you to remain the silly old pushover they always liked you to be. In Trent's case I guess, they liked the angry Trent better. Who wants to be angry all the time anyway?!
Anyway, someone left a comment on my previous post that his bride to be, Mariqueen Maandig, from the band West Indian Girl is Filipina. Her roots apparently can be traced back to Cagayan de Oro.

Why did this not enter my head immediately, of course! My best friend Kiting, who's happily married in Argentina right now, is from Cagayan De Oro, a beautiful place, I should say. I will ask Kiting to help me confirm this.
Since the Nine Inch Nails concert here in Manila in August 5, I think this small piece of trivia about who he's going to marry is going to boost publicity and sales. MCA Philippines should thank me for plugging this. They really really consider looking into girlfriends because normally people immediately judge them based on face value and their 'supposed' influence on the artist. Who knows? They might help in the business, which is what this whole thing really is about anyway, as record labels are concerned.
It would be a nice though if he'd fly to CDO for a "manhikan" haha, but Francis said Mariqueen (quite a Filipino name) may have been raised in the US. So no more of that traditional visiting the parents, asking for the daughter's hand in marriage, etc, etc. Plus the next gig is on August 10, I think, in Singapore. Haha. We don't even know if he's bringing her on tour! :)
Since we're in a country where we just find out that someone famous is half-Filipino, all of a sudden we're fans. If our country is mentioned in a foreign commercial or a TV series, good or bad, the whole country reacts. I think the fact that Trent is marrying a Filipina just makes us all music loving Pinays swoon over the idea and tell themselves, "it could have been me."
I did some slight research on the net. There's nothing much you can find out about her. She's also a model and I saw that Steve Tirona had taken photos of her in LA last year. That's how close we are to Trent now, haha.
Presenting "the most amazing woman in the world" according to Trent.

People describe it as a great match, analog plus digital love together. I know Tammy is cringing while reading this. Let's just all look back and think about our single moments with Trent.

Sigh...
and the video that made me fall in love with him.... Well at least only that part where he's all tied up and blindfolded. Hehe.

MANILA, Philippines—“The want the word ‘deaf’ written with a capital D. They find the terms ‘hearing impaired’ and ‘bingi’ offensive. They don’t like being stared at. And they appreciate music.”
All these, award-winning filmmaker Mike Sandejas told Inquirer Entertainment, he learned while writing and filming his new full-length feature, “Dinig Sana Kita (If I Knew What You Said),” about the struggles of a deaf boy.
The movie is an official entry to the 2009 Cinemalaya Philippine Independent Film Festival, which runs from July 17 to 26 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines in Pasay City.
Difficult subject
“Deaf people want respect. Many consider them inferior, so they fight back by creating awareness about their situation,” said Sandejas.
People close to him advised Sandejas against doing the film because of the “difficult” subject. “I’m not sure how this movie will be received. I’m just offering an alternative,” the director said. Sandejas earlier megged “Tulad ng Dati,” which won the Cinemalaya Best Film Award in 2006.
“Dinig Sana Kita” is the love story of a deaf boy (Romalito Mallari) who loves to dance and a troubled rocker girl (Zoe Sandejas) who abuses her hearing. Crossing paths in a Baguio camp that mixes deaf and hearing kids, they find that they have many things in common, including a love for music.
The film is inspired by the story of Sandejas’ friend, who works as a special educator for deaf people. “He tries to bridge the gap between deaf and hearing people,” the director said. “I thought of making him play himself in the movie, but he’s a very private person.”
A friend’s story
“Dinig Sana Kita” is the first Filipino film to have a deaf actor in the lead role. Mallari has acted in several theater productions and is a trained dancer in both modern and classical styles. “I’m amazed by Rome’s (Mallari's nickname) life story. It’s as if I made the film for him.”
The other deaf actors in the movie are Bronson Escalderon, Cathy Joy Patriarca and Jayjay Sunico; and dancers from Dulaang Tahimik ng Pilipinas (DTP) and DLSU-CSB Silent Steps Dance Troupe. Playing the heroine is Sandejas’ daughter Zoe, who debuted in “Tulad ng Dati.”
It was tough researching and writing the story, admitted Sandejas. “The deaf culture is so different from the norm. I have deaf people as advisers. Being with them changes your perspective. You realize that they are capable of doing so much— and most of us are not aware of it.”
Tight budget
Sandejas added that working on a tight budget is also proving to be a challenge. “Most of the scenes were shot in Baguio. It’s problematic, logistically. Fortunately, I met a lot of kind people there who let me shoot for free. Nabuo na lang basta.”
Does he feel he should top the success of “Tulad ng Dati?” “I try not to think about the awards derby just yet. Magagaling ang mga kalaban. But I can say I'm proud to be in this year’s batch,” he said.
Rock musicians Marc Lopez, JJ Lacson, Wilf Trinidad and Sugarfree are also featured in this movie. Sandejas is also a finalist (“What Floor Ma’am?”) in the Cinemalaya 2009 short feature category.
SourceGod is telling me, "See it at last. Then be grateful." I knew he had a plan but it was painstakingly difficult to wait for it. Now after all these years I can see it quite clearly now, but I still can't see the end of the rainbow. I don't think I ever will as the world constantly moves and it leaves no room for those who just want to stop and think. We're all doers here so we give back the talents he gave us by using it well. Really well.
The rest of my life just recently started and I only realized it tonight. It's time to welcome the new era and it's just going to be so great. I am so overwhelmed with the thought and always wished for this moment to occur. Now I know the people I'm going to be seeing the next few weeks will probably be there for the rest of my life. It's only just going to be magnificent for us. All of us.
I can count the number of people I hold dearest to me in one hand and yet I feel like my hands cannot be contained. I am getting the help I don't really need so I consider this as a gift -- a grand gesture offering true friendship. I look at it as step towards rebuilding that informal dynasty we had always planned with the people who deserve to be in it shall flourish as individuals, pursuing each our own personal happiness.
It was painful for me to lose one of my greatest friends but time has just proved that we will always be a part of one team. I just know that there's still going to be a lot of battles to be fought and I don't care who we face, there may be few of us but we're different from everyone else. We will be great. All of us will be great.
Thank you, dearest friend. I know I could never say this to you in person, as dramatically as I have written here. I just want the world to know how grateful I am to you for saving my life then, helping me become who I am and helping me even more so now. God always brings you right back with an astounding sense of timing, in moments that render me speechless. I will never ever know how I could repay you for all your kindness. I can only shrug my head and keep saying thank you. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
For keeping the faith despite the silence and the distance, salamat. Tunay kang kaibigan.
You know who you are.

I'll talk more about the movie in another post.

So anyway, I went to Fashion week to see sir Gerry only because he said that he needs beautiful people like me there. BOLA. HAHA. He really said that, but I really wanted to go even if I end up looking like trash that evening only for a glimpse on what his genius is going to show us this time.

The Knife - Heartbeats
One night to be confused
One night to speed up truth
We had a promise made
Four hands and then away
Both under influence
We had divine sense
To know what to say
Mind is a razorblade
To call for hands of above to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no
One night of magic rush
The start - a simple touch
One night to push and scream
And then relief
Ten days of perfect tunes
The colors red and blue
We had a promise made
We were in love
To call for hands of above to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no
To call for hands of above to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, oh
And you, you knew the hand of a devil
And you kept us awake with wolves teeth
Sharing different heartbeats in one night
To call for hands of above to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no
To call for hands of above to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, oh

Could the trend of musicians using Twitter starting to reverse? Probably not, but Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor said yesterday that after "experimenting" with social networking, he's ready to call it quits.
In a lengthy blog post on his band's website (linked -- for the last time it seems -- to his Twitter feed), Reznor explained his rationale for joining the online community in the first place.
"When Twitter made it's way to my radar I looked at it as a curiosity, then started experimenting," he said. "I approached that as a place to be less formal and more off-the-cuff, honest and ‘human.' I was not expecting to broadcast details of my love life there, but it happened because I'm in love and it's all I think about and that's that."
But those love notes were tarnished when an enemy known as "Metal Sludge" came on the scene -- a group of people who Reznor characterized as "unattractive plump females who publicly fantasize about having sex with guys in bands."
He accused them of "spewing hate" at himself and his fiancé. He also called them "people nobody will fuck" and offered instructions for ways to remedy their existence: "Cutter's tip for my friends there: remember to cut along the length of vein, not across," he said, adding darkly "Bigger payoff."
And don't expect anymore online-lessons-in-life-ending from this guy. "I will be tuning out of the social networking sites because at the end of the day it's now doing more harm than good in the bigger picture and the experiment seems to have yielded a result. Idiots rule," he said.
But Reznor didn't call it quits without saying a proper goodbye -- complete with the implication that not only had he landed himself a hottie, but also that he had more important things to do than hang out online (take that internet geeks!).
"With all of that said, I have business in the real world to attend to including wrapping up the live version of NIN, doing some cool new shit and spending as much time as possible with the most amazing woman in the world."

I'd say this was historical, but Chen told me Rico had one other gig in HardRock several months ago. Why'd I say it's historical? Well, the very last time I saw Rico play in Hard Rock was when he was still with Rivermaya and this was in 2004. It was my first time to meet the band after being hired as a stylist. I was with Kiting and we had a measuring tape. We actually didn't know what we were doing, because normally now I'd just ask the person for their pants size and then I figure out what shirt sizes are okay for them by looking at someone from head to toe. Since it was my first time styling for a whole band, we decided "might as well just make it look like we're doing something."
HAHA. Sorry guys, but it all turned out nicely in the end didn't it?
So what I'm saying is that the last time I saw Rico play in this venue was 5 years ago.
So now here he is! This was an NU107 gig. Francis and I came from the movie editing. We left Tomas Morato around 7 and headed off to Glorietta just to wind down our brains and to prepare Francis for scoring the footage he acquired that afternoon.

There ain't gonna be any gig shots posted here because I hardly have any time to sort through the multitude. Just some camewhore pics if you can bear it.

She had to leave for Singapore the evening of this interview, but we squeezed in an hour of her time for a quick interview and a phone patch from Dave Tan the vocalist courtesy of Warner Music Singapore. Thank you!

Jason and Francis were interviewing her at the same time and came up with this feature on Pulp Magazine. Thanks Jason for using my photo of Amanda! :) You can find this article in the MAY 2009 issue of Pulp Magazine. So go grab a copy!

Despite living in Malate, i've never been to Cowboy grill. Sobrang olats ko when people ask me how is this place, or restaurant located in Malate. I have no idea. I only know the Adriatico area, but other than that, I think I was born years too late when now I look at Malate as unsafe. I did go to those areas when bar-hopping would be the itinerary for the night but I don't do that anymore. I realized when you don't go to an area far too long, things change around you so rapidly you feel like a foreigner in your own hometown.
So thank you Chen for telling me where it is, haha.

We laughed at the big tarpaulin on the stage that said AEGIS instead of Rivermaya. Jayson made a joke about it and we requested for Basang Basa sa Ulan. Sabi nila cowboy grill isn't cowboy grill if you don't hear those tunes. Francis said balik daw pera because we didn't hear any of those songs, haha.
It was a fun night. We all wanted to meet up for drinks the night after but I guess we were all too famished from the previous night. Rivermaya had a flight to Singapore a few days after so I knew they kind of had to pack and rest for that trip.
But like I wrote in my posts, "thank God for true friends because you don't need to explain yourself to them". They are there for you anytime you need them. Thank you for all your endearing text messages to Francis and I. Pati yung bago kayo magboard ng eroplano may text pa talaga si Mark sa amin! Grabe!!! You guys don't know how grateful we are and I'm so proud of all of you and have kept all your text messages in my saved folder because I only need to read it and sobrang masaya na ulit ako. :)
MikeE dedicated a song to us and told the audience, that there were people who helped them during their tough times and then now these very people need their help and he dedicated the song, "Umaaraw, umuulan" to us. Didn't mention our names, but I almost cried while holding a big ass beer mug on one hand and a cigarette on the other. It would be too obvious they were talking about us and I might get strange looks, but hey, I'm giving it away in this blog because I'm over the possible shame that night, people probably didn't know we were there, haha.
Japs said, "Well wala na ako dun." BWISET HAHAHA!!!! Of course we all knew he was joking.

Jayson pulled Chen up on stage and sang a song for her because sabi may kapalit daw na POSTER with autograph, hahaha! Ang cheap mo! Artist niyo naman sa Warner yan hahaha!
I really miss these guys!!! Would like to fly with them to Hong Kong this June but I think I've got some things to sort out here in Manila first. Next time though, they've got a ton of international gigs lined up!!!

A hearing-impaired boy finds love in Dinig Sana Kita

"Everything I know about film, I learned it through experience as a young producer right before the digital film scene emerged," aniya.
SYNOPSIS. Dinig Sana Kita is a love story between Kiko, a deaf young man who loves to dance and Niña, a troubled teenage rocker girl who lives in the world of rock music and abuses her hearing.
The two meet in a Baguio camp's deaf encounter seminar that mixes deaf and normal-hearing teens in team building activities. Their misadventures help them discover that they have more in common with each other than with their own kind.
They find a common understanding of music and learn that their lives are not so different. Eventually, they discover that they both understand each other more than anyone else despite the communication gap.
ROCK MUSICIAN IN REAL LIFE.
She was last seen in Tulad Ng Dati bilang anak ni Jett Pangan.
Zoe is a incoming high school senior at Paref-Rosehill sa Antipolo.
She considers acting in my films as training dahil dream niya ring maging isang filmmaker.
"Dati siyang may banda na nagpo-front act sa mga sikat na banda sa gigs sa bars and schools. Nagso-solo acoustic rin siya dati. Tumigil siya sa pagtugtog para mag-concentrate sa studies."
Samantala, ang lead actor naman na si Romalito Mallari (nicknamed Rome) ay isang hearing impaired actor and dancer. Siya ay multi-media arts student ng The College of St. Benilde.
"He has acted in several theater productions both for deaf and hearing audiences and is a trained dancer in both modern and classical styles," pagbibigay impormasyon ni Direk Mike.
"Team talaga with Dulaang Tahimik and Silent Steps. Matagal na silang sumasayaw. Si Rome ay former scholar ng ballet teacher na si Sofia Zobel. Pero ang mentor nila ay si Myra Medrana, isang deaf choreographer at dancer."
Since siya rin ang may likha ng script, gaano na katagal kay Direk Mike ang materyal na ito sa kanya?
"For about a year and a half ko na iniisip ito," sabi ni Direk. "I learned about the deaf camp program that mixes hearing and deaf kids sa kaibigan ko na nagpapatakbo noon.
"Kinuwento niya sa akin ang mga experiences niya doon. From there, I did research na and na-meet ko ang maraming tao sa deaf culture."
"I tried to submit noong 2008, but it wasn't a great story. Nag-trip lang ako. Hindi pumasa.
"Dinig Sana Kita was submitted this year lang. Nagpahinga ako kasi, nakaka-stress gumawa ng pelikula. Iba kasi ang proseso ko, sobrang madetalye, kaya mas nakakapagod maghanda."
Ano ang inspirasyon niya sa pagsulat ng script na ito? "My daugther and my deaf friends. Si Romalito, in particular. Parang kuwento nga talaga nila ito," lahad ni Direk Mike.
How is it working with his real life daughter as her actress?
"We've always been a team.
"The deaf are more sensitive to people and surroundings than the hearing people. Hearing people need to realize that they do not really listen."
Also featuring ang rock musicians na sina Marc Lopez, Jim Joseph Lacson, Wilf Trinidad of Kalzada, and a special appearance by the Sugarfree band.
Director/ Writer/ Producer -- Mike Sandejas
Associate Director -- Arman Reyes
Director of Photography -- Albert Banzon
Production Designer -- Roland Rubenecia
Line Producers -- May Sandejas and Rolly Palmes

Thank you Rico for the pass, although you were probably not fully aware of it. Well so was I until I saw my ID and asked Chen why it wasn't Electrico. Dave said I could just fold it, the name Rico could be one half Electrico. I said it wasn't half, because Electrico has NINE letters so ano yon, 4/9ths? haha.
So I guess it's Warner I have to thank and JAM most especially. To Eric Perpetua for bringing in Electrico all the way from Singapore, super thank you.

I came from a movie shoot that morning with quite an early call time. I was so famished by the time I got to the event around 10pm. I didn't really make an effort to take better shots, I just wanted to enjoy the night with everyone. I think there were enough photographers going around to document that. Oh and you guys should check out Reggie's photos, they're amazing.

I went home ahead of them and reminded them of the NU107 interview the next day at 10am. They were the DJs for two whole hours with songs that they want to play. When I was about to leave our driver was nowhere in sight and we were a few minutes late, and Francis got an applause for the grand entrance. Embarrassing, but it's all good.
Will post that interview soon. :)
Still so overwhelmed with the backlog of photos. I do not have time to even color correct them or whatever. I'm still so groggy because we were viewing the editing of the movie for half of the day yesterday and ended up watched Rico at Hard Rock last night.
Good gig, good gig...

Wala ring aamin
Nais lumayo sa mundo kong kulungan
Ako'y nakagapos, walang patutunguhan
Gustong makita ang mundo mo sa kabila
Isang sulyap lang, sana may pag asa
Kahit di mo ako mahalin...
Kahit saan mo ako dalhin...
Kahit isang saglit
Wala man kapalit
Sana Ako'y marinig
Kahit isang saglit
Wala man kapalit
Bakit di mo ako marinig?

Sorry wala pang poster yung Dinig Sana Kita, I'm trying to work on it. EEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK
we're not yet done shooting!!!!!!!!!!!

Zoe is really pretty and she is singing a really rad song called "Malaya" (and no it's not a gay anthem, but it can be. The "shes" in this crew seem to love it, haha) Also, no this isn't the song I wrote. I wouldn't be able to write something so profound, haha.
The movie is about deaf people. I was struck by what Kuya wrote. He asked, who is more deaf, a deaf person or someone who can hear and does not listen?
There's freedom in hearing out the truth and feeling it rather than denying yourself of what is truly the right thing to do. You be the judge. I really think you should watch the movie this July.

Zoe is turning 17 this November. Wow. We started talking about how we were all in a room trying to cheer her on to start crawling. Now we're cheering for entirely different reasons. I remember when I was 17, I was at a very impressionable age. I admit it NOW, but during that time I was rebellious and tried to prove that I was otherwise. I was wrong. For young people out there, no matter how much you think you are more advanced than your peers, there are still lessons to be learned with experience. Wisdom does come with age. Years later, I still feel like I'm learning how to handle the wolves of reality. There are really people out there waiting to harm you because it's their nature. Apart from going through the horror and learning from it, listening to advice is your best defense.
TRUST ME. Haha.

Got this jacket from Ukay ukay, yo! hahahaha
and of course her hair was done by none other than the great Abel Pineda.
Which reminds me, I need to get a haircut.
Sorry I've been a boring blog lately. I simply have no time to post. Lot's of amazing things happened (and happening) in my life. Projects here and there, being hired by an international band to do their PR, practicing portrait photo shoots, slowly adding stuff to my home studio, managing the wardrobe for the movie shoot, commissioned to do a painting....
Oh, I wrote a song, which is a miracle because I'm not a musician. I'm a grade one piano drop out! Twice! Everyone who heard it during recording had been raving about it. Thank you, but I'm not expecting to have a career in music, especially not here in Manila. . The only good thing I got out of it is knowing who among the people who heard it has that really cheezy softspot they never ever wanted to reveal. Hahahaha! And FYI, no I didn't sing the song. You can more or less guess who did :)) (see tags below)
Right now, I'm just preparing for that one big bang I've been waiting for for a long time and it's slowly coming to me... Come to mama! If I get it I will tell everyone but it's just so great for me to share right now. It's going to be the highlight of my life! If it doesn't then I know there will always, always be something else. My family and I have been very good people and we do everything with all our hearts. It's the people that surround us that pull down our ideals and refuse to believe that there are really selfless people in this world. I guess those who think that are themselves the complete opposite, because if they're selfish they can never ever imagine how some people can be SELFLESS.
When people say something about you, it shows more about how they think, their thought process, than it does to who you really are as a person or the truth at hand. So stop being malicious!
I took Chen's photo last night to try and get the hang of portraiture. Chen isn't a model. She works for a record label, WEHEHEHE.... She's used to being behind the scenes but I forced her to pose (with wine and pizza for bait) hahaha! The jacket is hers, she insisted on wearing it. Roxy had a grand sale and from 6,000 pesos she got it like 90% off!

Finally, they're here in Manila!

Mark your calendars MAY 15. I guess the poster isn't updated yet because I only found out they'll be coming here for real just this morning.
but I assure you, they'll be here!!!

Me, haha

French Cigars bought by Sam, Apol and Apple when they were in Cambodia (which I've tried and they made me feel real woozy)
We think it's a typo, it's supposed to be BLEND, but instead they wrote BLOND, haha!

...And they'll buy you drinks, you'll meet
girls... they'll try to fly you places for
free.... offer you drugs... I know. It
sounds great. But they are not your
friends. These are people who want you
to write sanctimonious stories about the
genius of the rock stars and they will
ruin rock and roll and strangle everything
we love about it.
They are trying to buy respectability
for a form that is gloriously and
righteously -
- DUMB! And you're smart enough to
know that. And the day it ceases to
be dumb is the day it ceases to be
real. Right? And then it will just
Become an Industry of Cool. And that's what they want! And it's
happening right now. I'm telling you,
you're coming along at a very dangerous
time for rock and roll. The war is
over. They won. 99% of what passes
for rock now... SILENCE is much more
compelling. It's over.

Especially when I've spoken to people who have negative vibes or drain you without any reason just by talking to them.
It tingles a bit. You may think it's all psychological, but all I can say is that, "Hey, if it helps...."
A friend told me to hold or sit beneath a tree to gain grounding, stability, calm and insight. She also said that Buddha gained inspiration sitting under a tree.
I hold a tree any chance I get, kahit pa puno na kinabitan ng MMDA sign hahawakan ko. Haha!
pic taken by Sam Teves while I was in Vietnam, right outside the bar called Xu, hehe. We wonder why I was holding it. :P
I think you should try it too.
